I LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT - I'VE GOT 2 MORE WEEKS OF LAZYNESS AND THE DOCTOR SAYS I CAN START TRAINING AGAIN! AND I DIDN'T EVEN NEED A NEW HEART - JUST A NEW ADRENAL GLAND AND A LACK OF INFECTED CARDIAC MUSCLE! WHEN DO THE WINTER SAT AND SUN RUNS START AGAIN? I'LL BE HANGING AT THE BACK UNTIL I LOSE ALL THIS WEIGHT AND GET SOME FITNESS BACK - 5 MONTHS OFF THE BIKE IS NOT GOOD FOR THE SCALES, BUT BETTER THAT THAN KEELING OVER GOING UP KEADY MOUNTAIN I GUESS! WE SHOULD ACTIVELY RECRUIT SOME OF THE LOCAL WEIGHT WATCHERS GROUP SO I CAN FEEL BETTER ABOUT MY PERFORMANCES ON THE BIKE!

the club runs will be starting of on sunday morning (14th) if anyone wants to come along have already spoken to a few and they are up for it, usual time 10.00am at the bike shop, just a nice steady spin for about 2hrs 30 mins to 3hrs, it will be a good run if the weather good and lots of us turn up bit of crack!! let us know if anyone is going

one other thing is that if we get everyone that is goin to go out every sunday morning, and then take it in turn each week to decide on the route??? oblivously one that lasts 3hrs with a few hills something like that, give me a reply and we will get a list of people who go out and then each one will decide on a route and then put it up before the run on sunday so that everyone knows it, when this person decides the route then they will be in charge ie time spent at the front etc leave your name who wants to do it and whoever wants to go first ie decide the route on sunday!! if everyone thinks this is a good idea?? let me know!! let all club members know about this,

I like the sound of that simon - at least I will until someone decides that the tower and slieve gullion are viable options for winter runs! But it does sound like a good idea, so we know who to expect/wait for in the mornings or who to meet on the route! I'm not sure I'll be out on the 14th though, I've to get my last blood test and echocardiogram on the 17th, so I'm not gonna take any chances - nearly died once this year already, lol! Is it possible to create a link/page on this website, specifically for training runs, both at the weekend and during the week - it'd be really handy to know who is heading out on various days of the week - I know stephen, yourself, peter and I go out during the week, and cat does too, so it'd be good just for someone to head out with etc. Also anyone headin out could put down what they are lookin to do, so no one is holdin anyone back if someone is lookin a hard day, intervals, sprints etc.

All of the youth is doing the 60 mile run next Sunday. None of us have been on the bike properly since the All-Irelands which feels like a d**n long time ago! Should be good enough though
